Spring 2004 Meeting

The spring 2004 meeting of the Colusi County Historical Society was held Saturday, May 1st at Franco's Restaurant in Willows. Dr. Johnson opened the meeting with the pledge of alligiance. He then announced that he will step down as editor of the semi-annual Wagon Wheels publication. Dr. Gene Russell will succeed as the new editor. Dr. Johnson also announced that Barbara Ash will retire as a director for the CCHS. Barbara will still be an active member of the CCHS. Mr. Clark Cook was nominated as a successor for Barbara.

Elk Creek High School teacher and CCHS Director, Jerry Clark, was our featured speaker. Mr. Clark presented a program on rural Glenn County Schools.
