DON AND JACKIE CORRIE LIGHT UP THEIR HOME IN MEMORY OF THEIR SON AND NEPHEW

Chico, California- One of the most brilliantly lit homes is here in Chico, California. Every holiday season, Don and Jackie Corrie decorate their home in memory of their son, Mike. Tragically, at only 20 years old, Mike was involved in an accident in 1981. Although the holiday season would not be the same without Mike, the Corrie family did not let this dampen their holiday spirit. The idea was conceived to decorate their house in memory of their son. Mike would have wanted it this way.

In addition to the brilliant lights on the house, there are numerous themed displays, trains chugging throughout the front yard, a village and a computer display. This is the most impressive display we have ever seen. 

In 1996, tragedy struck the Corrie family again, when their nephew Robbie passed away. A very large tree is lit up in his memory. Our hearts and our prayers go to Mike, Robbie and the Corrie family this and every holiday season.

Although the display may look great in the photos, you must really see this in person. The cross streets are Holben Avenue at 1st Avenue.
